From November 12–20, we were in Denver participating in the Evangelical Theological Society and Society of Biblical Literature meetings. Members of the seminary faculty were engaged in presenting papers and participating in various academic discussions with scholars and theologians around the world. Several of their published books were displayed on the expo floor.
Furthermore, several faculty members were distinguished in Denver. Dr. Wayne Grudem was honored with a Festschrift. Dr. Peter Gurry was officially installed as a new member of the board of the Institute for Biblical Research, while Dr. John Meade was elected to be a Member at Large (executive committee) for the International Organization for Septuagint and Cognate Studies.
