Associate Professor of Theology
Dr. Steven J. Duby is associate professor of theology at Phoenix Seminary, having previously taught at Grand Canyon University. He teaches courses in systematic theology and hermeneutics. He also has a special interest in the theology of Thomas Aquinas and in post-Reformation and modern Protestant theology.
He is the author of Jesus and the God of Classical Theism: Biblical Christology in Light of the Doctrine of God (Baker, 2022), God in Himself: Scripture, Metaphysics, and the Task of Christian Theology (IVP, 2019), and Divine Simplicity: A Dogmatic Account (Bloomsbury, 2016).
