This past weekend, the Christian Association for Psychological Studies held its annual conference in Dallas, Texas, an event described as "three days packed full of training, stimulating dialogue, inspiring spiritual direction, and professional networking." The theme of this year's conference was "Transformed: Emerging Trends in Training and Practice."
Our own Dr. Justin Smith, Associate Professor and Director of the Counseling Program, spoke at the Christians in Social Work mini-conference on child abuse and neglect and later participated in a symposium on incorporating integration in master's programs. The event also provided a welcome opportunity for our Phoenix Seminary faculty, students, and alumni to meet.
If you or someone you know is considering a ministry in counseling, Phoenix Seminary offers an MA in Counseling and an MDiv with a Counseling and Family concentration.
