Celebrating the Life of Dr. “Chip” Moody

Home » Celebrating the Life of Dr. “Chip” Moody

The following is a note from our president, Dr. Darryl DelHousaye:

Our friend and brother in Christ, Dr. Chip Moody, went home to be with the Lord earlier this week. As you know, Dr. Moody is affectionately known to all of us as “Chip.” He served as Vice President of Student Affairs at the school. He was our professor of preaching and pastoral leadership, training young men and women to shepherd with a scholar’s heart. We grieve over losing his presence with us, but our hope is in knowing we will join him again in the presence of Jesus Christ. Our hearts and prayers are with his wife Gina and their family.

—Dr. Darryl DelHousaye

Precious in the sight of the LORD
Is the death of His godly ones.
Psalm 116:15

Service to start at 10:00 AM, with a lunch reception to follow. Anyone who knew Chip is welcome. In lieu of flowers or monetary donations to the family, a scholarship fund will be established at Phoenix Seminary, to which donations can be made.
