Join us for a special night designed to introduce you to Phoenix Seminary! You’ll hear a message from Ray Ortlund on the importance of theological education for ministry and share a free Chick-fil-A dinner with faculty before finishing the night with a visit to the president’s church history class. We’ll have giveaways and seminary apparel for sale. Guests are welcome!

Our Speakers

Ortlund-Ray-

Dr. Ray Ortlund served for many years as pastor of Immanuel Church, Nashville, Tennessee and now serves as a Council member with The Gospel Coalition and as the President of Renewal Ministries. He has written numerous books and received a B.A. from Wheaton College, Th.M. from Dallas Theological Seminary, M.A. from The University of California, Berkeley, and Ph.D. from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. Ray has been married to Jani for forty happy years, and they have thirteen delightful grandchildren.

Brian Arnold headshot

Dr. Brian Arnold serves as the fourth President of Phoenix Seminary and also teaches church history. Before joining Phoenix Seminary, Dr. Arnold served as the pastor of Smithland First Baptist Church in Kentucky. Dr. Arnold earned his MDiv, ThM, and PhD from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and is the author of two books. He has been married to Lauren since 2007 and has two children.
